RIP Grampa

For those who weren't there or couldn't make it, I spoke at my Grampa's funeral.

I will post my notes here, as I want everyone to know just what the man meant to me.

It is not long-winded, but I tried to be to the point and from the heart.

I'm a collector of things. Some would call me a pack-rat. Well, I get these traits from my Grampa. Except he didn't call it "being a pack-rat"... He would call it "just in case", or "I might be able to use this some day". And you know, most of the time he WOULD find a use for those things. Something would need fixed, or modified in some way, and low and behold, my Grampa would produce some piece of so-called junk, and he would make it work. He saw the value in everything. Be it a piece of discarded scrap wood, to half a roll of chicken-wire, to people. He never took anyone or anything for granted. My Grampa always had faith in me, and supported me in my art, life, and everything else in between. This meant more to me than he could ever know. He was more than I could ever hope for in a roll model, a grandfather (to me as well as accepting my wife as he would his very own granddaughter), a great-grandfather to my son, and last but not least, as a man. He was the greatest man I've ever known, and we could all aspire to be more like him. If I can even be HALF the man he was... I can count myself fortunate. 

I loved my grandfather immensely, and I hope he would have been honored byte words. I will miss him every single day, but I feel peace that he can finally rest after such a long and action-packed life filled with adventures beyond measure.

Site redesign

I gave METROCATPISS.tk a slight redesign today. Hopefully it looks a little cooler and wont hurt your eyes as much.

No Service

So i FIND a phone. WAY better than MY phone. i think "oh, sweet, free phone". I go BUY a charger to see if it works. Turns out it wont work w/ my service. I decide (after the fact) to do the "nice-guy-thing", try & contact the owner & return the phone (which has a $100 value, mind you). I pull up, they take the phone, say a quick "thanks" and turn around and walk away. Not even a "lil somethin' for my trouble".

Moral of the story - Being nice doesn't pay. In fact...it costs YOU money.

Been Out Of It, or, The Guy I Steal WiFi From Needs To Move Closer

I know.....i havent posted in a month. My stolen WiFi cuts out like a jigsaw. Oh well. No excuses.

So I've been thinking of making some merch for you all to obediently eat up, but i need YOUR help....

What i need, is for you to tell me WHAT art you would like to see ON what products. Whether it be a hoody, a coffee cup, print, poster, what-have-you. I just dont want to be sitting on a ton of stuff I'D be stoked on, but nobody ACTUALLY wanted.

if i get enough responses for a particular item, I'll be more geared toward getting it made.
